Small pleasures

Perennial bachelor's button. I would love this for its name alone; blue flowers are just a bonus.

Kittycat and columbine.

Glad to see the pretty spring flowers arrived in your yard--I love those bachelor's buttons--but what is this amazing kittycat flower? :)

Hahah.. At first I though you were growing pussyweed.

Aah, the beauty.
I just checked out your dumbass category. I love it. If you need backup for Glen[da], I have half a Phentex slipper around here somewhere. Although it's no mohair, I'm sure we could whip it up into something useful.

I love Columbine...when my daughter was small we would pull off the coned petals to leave "fairy slippers" for the garden fairies...It seems like forever ago...

Love the flower photos, the kitty's tail is my favorite.
