Yes, it was Rachael (www.yarnagogo.com) who first pointed the resemblance out to me and sent me a link to some photos. Then I found this one, which is proof enough for me that he's surrounded by evil little creatures mortal humans can't see. Look how he strokes it.

To me, he looks more like Senator Palpatine, the Dark Lord of the Sith. Which is equally apt.
Now we just have to keep hoping that somehow, the US has a change of heart. Or at least that a sense of fairness comes through and the Uniting American Families act passes, to allow my same-sex American partner to sponsor me for immigration.
