it "snowed" tonight!
By the time I got the pictures uploaded, the snow had already turned to rain. Too bad, I was hoping for a snow day tomorrow. But you never know, if this rain gets too cold overnight they could declare it "ice" and shut down the university anyway. At any rate, I was ecstatic to have some snow here in Athens. I even danced in it a little.
Whee!

My son was thrilled with the "snow".. I have photos of it on my blog too.. lol. I've been coming in and hitting refresh on the CBS 46 school closings page for half the night hoping that Munchkin has off in the morning so that we can sleep in.. I think we'll all at least get a late start with the freezing rain and icy roads.

Snow in Georgia? I'm surprised they aren't all huddled in their homes stocking up for the impending Apocalypse!

Only in the south is a light dusting of snow on par with a blizzard in any other part of the country north of the Mason-Dixon line..

Alas, just a dusting of snow around here too. Jsut enough to be inconvenient, but not dangerous. so no snow day.

That is awesome! The only snow I will get this year will be the fake snow they made down Mainstreet when we visited Disneyland (it was weird, I think it was soap or something).

In addition to snow itself, that is one gorgeous photo.
