The design is the "cropped cardigan with leaf ties" from Stefanie Japel's book, Fitted Knits.

The wool was custom dyed for me by Rabbitworks Fibre Studio.

The design is Orangina, from Stefanie Japel (Glampyre Knits).

The yarn is a recycled cotton which may have put me off recycling cotton yarns forever.

badass cardigan, completed june 2007

The design is Wicked (worsted weight version) from Zephyr Style, modified from pullover to cardigan.

100% merino wool unravelled from a secondhand sweater and lovingly hand dyed with about a billion packets of Kool-Aid. Don't ask me to duplicate this colour.

hello socks!, completed may 2007

No pattern, just a basic top-down sock with picot edge, reinforced flap heel and wedge toe. The yarn is from Hello Yarn, colourway is Oystercatcher.

ms marigold, completed september 2006

Ms Marigold, from Zephyr Style. Worked in a recycled cotton tape, dyed blue over the original pale olive before unravelling to get a variagated texture.

Pattern is by Mandy Moore, and is available for free from Knitty magazine. The yarn is a handspun cashmere given me by Claudia; contrasty bits are lambswool I reclaimed from a secondhand sweater and dyed using Kool-Aid.
