I'm enjoying these dresses tremendously. Is it weird wearing a dress of you on you? I'm finding some interesting......something? in that idea. Something along the lines of the with clothing to cover the naked form, but you are wearing the clothing with your naked form on it, the skin we're in, etc. It's pretty great.
Also, (and I don't know enough about the inks and how they are) are there any issues arising with ink buildup on the interior portions of the garments? from where you are printing on the back, etc.
I like the direction you are going with these. Are you going to maintain this same color palette throughout?

It is totally weird when I wear the ones in which the figure is really visible in the print. I felt sort of creepy all day when I had on the orange one with my face on it, and haven't used that block since (although if it creeps me out so much then perhaps I should, to explore that). I get a kick out of the idea of clothing my body with images of my naked body, for sure, and I think that it ties back to the time (before grad school) when I worked a lot with my own figure and was also a model at the same time, both objectifier and objectified.

As for the more practical concerns like ink buildup, yes, it's becoming a problem on some simply because it's hot here and I haven't been wearing bras and. . . enough said. I'm going to start blocking out that portion with newsprint so that it doesn't print. I also don't like the idea of all those chemicals rubbing against my delicate bits all day long.

The palette is mostly determined by what I use in my other printing, as I sometimes print on paper and cloth at the same time. On days when I just print the dresses I generally use the little tin foil packs of saved inks, so it's still all the same colours, although I mix those together when the ink gets low, resulting in some colours I wouldn't normally use in my prints.
