Hi, I have to say I love the colours in this, as well as the dress design. I had a look around on your site and couldn't see reference to it - did you use a pattern for this, or did you make up the pattern yourself? And if you did use a commercial pattern, I'd love to know what it is so that I can recreate the magic at home!

I started with a commercial pattern: Simplicity New Look 6969, which is from the nineties and out of print. I bought mine about ten years ago and never used it until now. I've had to make some significant changes to get the thing to fit, though, and I'm going to draft a couple of different bodices for it so that I can have a little more coverage when winter comes.
