dress #15, state 1
I haven't been retiring and replacing a dress each week lately, because I had to send a few more off to be photographed and I wanted to get them as inky as possible first. Last week I put three in the mail, then to catch up I made four new dresses in a row, working each evening to have something to wear the next day. Now half of my dresses are old and muddy and half are new and shiny.
All of the dresses in the new batch are made from secondhand bedsheets that I printed over. I like working on top of existing prints, watching them disappear. This one's going to take a lot of work to cover up.
