presentation

I made these slides over the weekend as part of a big job application package I was putting together. I love the way the dresses look all lined up with themselves at different stages.

dress #4, states 6, 7, 8

dress #7, states 1, 3, 5

dress #5, states 3, 5, 8

dress #11, states 1, 3, 5

The black lines (there, of course, because the slides will be viewed on black rather than white) aren't really different widths from one slide to the next; that's just how flickr resized them. In real life they look perfect.

These look great all together - it's nice to see the progression, all next to each other. I like the longer dresses. How does it feel wearing an exposure of your printed self upon your clothed self - the printed self being the clothing, etc? Especially in those where things line up a bit more...

Those look really great -- the presentation clearly illustrates the progression of printings, and yet the viewer may still be fooled for a brief moment that these are different articles of clothing. I really like it. Best of luck on the job application!
